Every great pickleball club runs on people. WilloBees is entirely volunteer-run — from the committee who set the direction, to the WorkerBees who show up every week and make the sessions happen.
This page introduces the machine behind the club. The people who give their time so you can play, laugh, improve and belong. We think they deserve to be known. 🐝

Our committee is a group of volunteers who give their time to keep WilloBees growing, fair, and fun. They meet regularly, make the big decisions, and answer to the membership — that's you.

The WorkerBees
The unsung heroes.
On court every week.
While members arrive ready to play, our WorkerBees are already there — setting up, welcoming, managing the session, and staying until everything is packed away. They are the reason WilloBees works.
Session Hosts
The backbone of every WilloBees session. Our hosts arrive early, set up, welcome players, manage the flow of play, and pack up last. They make the magic happen every single week.
First Aiders
Qualified first aiders who volunteer their skills to keep every session safe. We are always looking to grow this group — if you hold a current first aid certificate, please let us know.
Court Assistants
Helpers who support the host on busier sessions — managing rotations, welcoming new players, and keeping energy high on the court.

You don't need to be on the committee to make a difference. There are plenty of ways to contribute — big and small — and we'll always find a role that fits around your life.
Scouting for Sites
Know a venue with underused courts? We're always looking for new locations across the Lower North Shore.
Negotiating Equipment
Got a knack for a good deal? We need people who can negotiate pricing on balls, nets, and accessories.
Hosting Sessions
The most direct way to give back. Run a session, know your members, and become the person everyone is glad to see.
First Aiders
A current first aid certificate makes you invaluable. We'll cover your renewal costs.
Becoming a Trainer
Experienced players who want to help others develop their game. We can support you through coaching pathways.
